Hi, I’m Sophie. This is where you’ll find my creative work - playful, colourful art that explores life, death and all the weird stuff in between.
After my late partner James died in 2021 I started learning to paint with the art materials he left behind. I’ve now branched out into mediums he never tried, like acrylics and clay. But everything I make still uses his paint brushes, pots, and other materials, and helps me feel close to him.

James’ artwork
My late partner James Sheppard was a kind, laid back, funny, creative, and smart person, with a calming presence that made everyone feel at ease. In 2021 he passed away unexpectedly at the age of 30 from an undetected heart condition.
