Creative

At the end of the work day I roll my chair over to my "home studio" - a pokey little corner of my office stacked with paints and half-finished canvases.

I started painting after my late partner James died in 2021, using the art materials he left behind. What began as a way of coping has grown into a small creative practice that helps me stay connected to him and make something positive from my loss.

Each season, I donate 10% of profits from sales of my artwork to a chosen charity. I also sell prints of James’ work, with 100% of profits donated to Cardiac Risk in the Young in his memory.

Summer charity

10% of profits from the sale of my artwork in Summer 2026 will go to the charity Pigs in the Wood, a sanctuary providing a safe, free-roaming home for abandoned, abused and rescued pigs. Set across 10 acres of woodland in Huddersfield, the pigs have been given a second chance at life, living free and roaming naturally.

As always, 100% of profits from the sale of James’ artwork will go to Cardiac Risk in the Young in his memory.

James’ artwork

My late partner James Sheppard was a talented artist. You can buy his work as prints and digital phone wallpapers, all raising money to host free cardiac screenings for young people.

100% of profits from the sale of James’ artwork is donated to the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young.
